Who we are
We are a youth development company, with a focus on STEM and social-emotional education, based in Denver. We are a not-for-profit company that seeks to give back to our community, and help young people learn skills that can help them discover their future career, as well as learn to deal with some of the tough things that life throws at us, in a healthy way.
What we do
We meet once a week during the school week with our Lego Club, the after school club where we meet with 5th graders to have fun building with legos! Sometimes we work on specific lego projects, like this portrait of MLK that we made for black history Month 2026.
We also do weekend and summer outtings, usually to a museum, the Denver zoo, or a similar location that is educational that the students will enjoy and learn from.
Who are these people?!?
I’m glad you asked supposedly anxious visitor! We are the founders of SESTEMs (Social Emotional, Science Technology Engineering Mathematics). We have been Married since 2014, and started SESTEMS as a after school club, Lego Club, in January of 2026.
Mrs. Holmes, or Cleo, is a 5th Grade teacher, and the founder and CEO of SESTEMs. Her focus is on the SE and M. If you’re here, chances are high that its because of this woman here. Cleo has her Masters in Psychology with a focus on child development, and a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies.
Mr. Holmes, or Quentin, is a Senior System Engineer for a Web hosting company, he handles the Science, Technology, Engineering aspects of the program. He’s a self taught programmer and tech enthusiast, with 8 years of experience in the IT industry.
